The evolution of the relationship between administration and citizens in Romania

Abstract: The article addresses an ever-current issue that Romania faces, in the central and local public administration, namely the relationship between administration and citizens, from the perspective of its evolution since 1989 until now, on a legislative and practical level. A series of aspects concerning the relationship between the public administration and the citizen are presented, emphasizing those aspects regarding the need to consolidate and improve this relationship, by referring to public interest and to the citizen, the main beneficiary of the activity carried out by public administration, having as a goal the implementation and identification of constructive solutions to the current problems that the public administration is facing.
