On the Right to Good Administration: European developments and national administrative practice

Emil Bălan and Gabriela Varia

Academic Journal of Law and Governance, 2020, vol. 8, issue 1, 7-16

Abstract: The present paper presents in brief the evolutions related to the right to good administration since it was listed as a fundamental right in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and stressing also the more recent work of the ReNEUAL on Model Rules on Administrative Procedure. We also try bringing examples from the national level, from the Romanian administrative practice on the right to be heard, the right of access to your own file and the obligation of the administration to give reasons for its decisions.
