EU Data Protection, Obstacle in the Way of Medical Scientific Research?

Abstract: At European level there are intense preoccupations to harmonise legislation in the field of scientific research in connection with data protection. We intend to highlight the most important regulations in this area and also to emphasize the fact that in what medical research is concerned a clear and precise legislation can sometimes be a life saviour.
