Abstract:
The author reveals the role of the state in the insurance market of Syria, assesses the level of state regulation of the insurance market of Syria, as the main factor in the formation of this sector of the economy of developing countries, analyzes the dynamics of the occupied share of insurance companies in the market depending on the type of company (state, commercial, Takaful) for the period 2011–2017, assesses the dynamics of collection of premiums in the Syrian insurance market and insurance premiums per one employee of Syrian insurers. The main problems of state regulation of the insurance market in Syria.
