Abstract: In this paper, restructuring is considered as an optimization process of the functioning of the enterprise. This method, taking into account the level of economic development of the country, is aimed for increasing the efficiency of activities and the competitiveness of organizations. The domestic and foreign experiences of restructuring companies were analyzed. The prerequisites and stages of the restructuring process were identified, forecasts and recommendations were given.
