Journal of Public Administration, Finance and Law, 2014, vol. 6, issue 6, 188-194
Abstract:
This article aims to determine the impact that demographic changes have had during the 1995-2013 fiscal indicators such as the level of public expenditure, the total/social budget deficit or public debt in Romania. Population aging affects a number of categories of expenditures (social protection expenditure, the health care expenditure or long-term care), and government revenue, through many mechanisms.
