Abstract:
This article addresses a very topical issue, namely that of profitability and risk of capital investments in shares of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Thus, for a five-year time horizon that we consider representative, we determined the profitability taking into account the net dividends distributed by the companies in this period and the increase or decrease of the value of the share. For the risk analysis we used the ß coefficient. We believe that the obtained results can be a useful tool for individual and institutional investors in the stock market when they constitute their portfolios.
