Abstract:
The main changes in the Russian legislation in the sphere of science and innovation from May to December 2015 are presented. The review covers the following areas: scientific and technical policy and organization of science, tax regulation, intellectual property and technology transfer, regulation of the work of academic staff and researchers, integration of science and education, innovation policy and the development of the national innovation system. The changes, in particular, are aimed at improving the instruments of scientific and technical policy, integrating science and economy, supporting students, young scientists and the leading universities, integrating the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol into the scientific system of the Russian Federation, developing an integrated state system for R&D monitoring.
