Abstract:
The book discusses the driving forces of the development of the mankind and presents a forecasting method which is based on the analyses of intellectual capital of individual countries and the world as a whole. The author tries to identify quantitative relationships between the main indicators characterizing humanity development, i.e. population, GDP, knowledge capacity, the frequency and the contents of technological revolutions.The author presents a demographic model of the mankind and discusses the cyclicality of technological development and knowledge turnover. Correlation between population number and knowledge, knowledge and publication activity, technological revolutions and knowledge, knowledge and GDP, knowledge and education are discussed. The author idenitifies the main three driving forces of the mankind development: population, kbowledge and mental capacity. Who is this book for: For a wide range of recearhers, lecturers, students, postgraduates and all other individuals interested in knowledge management and forecast.
