Abstract:
Development of information technologies called to a new balance between the copyright legislation and concern of user’s community in application of information and communication technologies. One approach to solve this problem is based on development and wide-spread availability of the Free Software. It is well applied also to the situation in Russia, though with an account of some specific points.
