On the Formation of a System of the Commercial Use of Scientific Research

Abstract: The paper analyzes the current trends observed for indicators of innovation and commercialization of research in Russia and some other countries. A scheme is suggested for the commercialization of research results through specially organized the Exchange of intellectual property. Some elements of the commercialization of research at U.S. universities are described. The references and some comments are given to the documents issued recently by the Russian government to support the development of commercialization of research in higher education institutions.
