Abstract: In article the reasons of changes of age structure of the researchers observed during 1993–2011 are considered. The analysis of impact of the state personnel policy in the sphere of researches and development on changes of number and age structure of researchers is carried out. Recommendations regarding development of the state personnel policy in the sphere of researches and development are made.
