Abstract:
The article covers the analysis of the present state of the national innovation system (NIS). The problem of functioning of NIS in Russia, including low innovation activity of industrial enterprises, is discussed in the article. In conclusion it is said about the necessity of developing the collaborative mechanism between the public sector, specializing in research and development, and business, which needs technology and industrial design that is ready for mass manufacturing application. The article also suggests basic lines of the national innovation system’s development.
