Abstract:
The contemporary forms of the distributed research activity are studied. Distributed research activity is treated as the joint fulfillment of projects by researchers or by experts, who use new communication technologies for the remote work and who carry out this work out of the framework of traditional laboratories. Primary attention is paid to the dispersed forms of the distributed research activity (crowdsoursing, wikiactivity, etc.). The net forms of the distributed research activity are also examined. The possibility of using the experience of this activity to help Russian scientific and technical system under the conditions of the chronic scarcity of research and engineering personnel is discussed.
