Abstract:
Singapore is the most convenient country in the world for doing business. Simple and clear rules, moderate taxation and tax incentives create a favorable investment climate. The main objectives of trade policies of Singapore are the expansion of the international economic space for Singapore companies; establishing a fair and predictable international trading environment; minimizing barriers to the flow of imports. The country seeks to achieve these objectives, maintaining contacts with trading partners at the multilateral, regional and bilateral levels. In November 2015,the Russian Federation and the Republic of Singapore announced the beginning of consultations regarding the possibility of creating a free trade zone. The article deals with the creation of a mechanism governing the access of foreign goods to the domestic market in Singapore.
