Abstract: In the article the main directions of economic integration of Russia with the countries of Central Asia within the SCO are considered. The most important aspects of the bilateral relations and the main projects in the sphere of power, industry, infrastructure and transport are listed. Economic cooperation between the SCO countries will facilitate solving the strategic problems, but also influence noticeably the economic and political and social processes in the region with the principle of non-interference to internal affairs and respect for national sovereignty. The SCO study is also relevant in terms of the analysis of world regionalism development trends, in particular, development of interaction between separate regional associations of the countries.
