Comparative characteristics of China’s, US and EU specialization in telecommunications equipment exports

Abstract:
Telecom services are one of the most popular types of services in the world today. The manufacture of high-technology telecom equipment is key element to provide the innovation base for communications. For more than ten years, the world’s largest exporters of telecom equipment are China, the European Union and the United States. The author analyzes the key factors influencing the export’s structure and dynamics of these countries; identifies the main groups of export goods and their share in the total country’s exports; identifies the main trading partners and the difficulties faced by exporting countries of this type of goods. Analyzing the statistical data of international trade the author identifies trends in the specialization of world leaders in this segment.
