Abstract:
Gas exports is one of the key and main areas of Russia’s foreign trade, since gas is one of the most important resources and Russia occupies a leading position by reserves. The article deals with the relevant issue of Russian gas exports to European countries. The authors review and analyze current trends and features of this process. Moreover, challenges and prospects for Russian gas exports to European countries under sanctions and pressure from external economic forces are considered. Issues related to such gas pipelines as Nord Stream, Nord stream-2 and Turkish stream are also examined.
