Abstract: Amidst establishment of a new world economic order there is a need to study current trends in the global market of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to identify the most promising strategies and ensure sustainable development of the world economy. Strengthening of Russia’s role in the global LNG market will enhance its competitiveness increase in the long run.
