Abstract:
Extensive development of the ICT sector in India began in the 2000s. Today India is implementing many domestic and international ICT development programs, with one of the most successful - “100 Smart Cities Mission”. More than $7 billion was allocated for its implementation for the first five years, both from the budget and the private investors. The Indian government sees 100 Smart Cities as a way to improve the quality of life of the citizens and increase employment. This program has already helped to attract investors and introduce technologies transferred from the developed countries such as the USA, France, Israel, etc.
