Abstract: The study reviews and analyzes the results of the changes in the natural gas market in the global context at the turn of 2020-2021. Special attention is paid to the developing countries and their energy policies. The authors consider the current problems in the context of the Paris Agreement limiting greenhouse gas emissions. Besides, the analysis is carried out in terms of the relationship of supply and demand in the market; price dynamics are described, and short-term forecasts are determined.
