Principles of a Single Transport Area in Integration Associations

Abstract: The strengthening of integration processes between countries plays an important role in creating conditions for the growth of individual economies and increasing their competitiveness in the global market. The study of the issue allowed to formulate the concept of a «single transport area», describe its formation process in the context of integration, highlight the role of transport in the system of market relations, present the ways to arrabge for international transport, and also outline the advantages and disadvantages of using each mode of transport for delivering goods. The results provide new opportunities for researching the problem and contribute to the practical component of the implementation of a single transport area.
