Abstract:
Russia and Belarus have been coordinating, developing and implementing joint programs in a variety of areas for many years. The article provides examples of the implemented Union State programs. The author poses a number of questions. The first question is about the compliance of the programs with the purpose of interstate integration. The next question is related to the essentially random choice of programs due to the coincidence of interests of various ministries and departments of Russia and Belarus. The third issue is connected with the failure to use the possibilities of the commercial component of the programs. An attempt is made to suggest ways to improve the situation.
