Russia – Argentina: Economic Cooperation and Prospects for Expansion in the Current Crisis

Abstract:
Argentina is one of the key trade partners of Russia in Latin America. The economy of Argentina is not sustainable that complicates and affects international economic cooperation between the countries. In the article, the author presents an overview of Argentina’s economy and analyzes the changes in Russian – Argentine trade. Besides, some reasons for the last year trade turnover changes, which the author tried to assess, are taken into account. Finally, some examples of Russian- Argentine projects, meetings held in 2023 and areas for development of Russian-Argentine economic cooperation are stated.
