Abstract: The article analyzes the current state of Russia’s trade in construction services. The author examines the state development strategies applied to the export of construction services, in particular, the effectiveness of measures to achieve the objectives set in the strategy. Special attention is paid to the state mechanism for supporting the export of construction services, and a comparative analysis is made with a successful example of the support mechanism in China. According to the results of the study, there is a high potential for the expansion of Russian construction services exports despite the imposed sanctions. The key areas for fostering the growth of construction services exports were identified, the main of which are the strengthening of bilateral relations with potential partner countries, cooperation with African countries in the construction market, as well as the improvement of the state mechanism for supporting the export of construction services, primarily for small and medium-siz d enterprises.
