Abstract: The current geopolitical and economic situation has a negative impact on the well-being of nations. Disruptions in the movement of goods and the functioning of logistics chains negatively affect all participants in world trade. In particular, struggling national economies are experiencing the deterioration of the social sectors. One of these sectors is the healthcare system, which is designed to provide citizens with affordable medical care. The health care system and citizens should not be affected by the global crisis. Therefore it is necessary to provide comprehensive support for domestic healthcare, starting with the implementation of national target programs and ending with trade support measures to ensure the stability of the medical equipment market and to stimulate domestic production and market supply.
