Abstract: The article revealed the importance of improving management efficiency in all spheres of the economy, including telecommunications, in conditions of modern development and establishment of the country. Analyzed the existed scientific approach to understanding such terms as «public management», «mechanisms of public management» which are the native terms of the term «mechanisms of public management in the sphere of telecommunications». As the result of analysis of the research works, in which considered and studied the mechanisms of government management as the elements of mechanisms of public management, the author proposed the meaning of the terms «public policy», «mechanism of public policy». Based on the researches of the mechanisms of public management in the various fields of government economy, which differ in composition, meaning, classification, and also on features and the meaning of the telecommunications in every-day life of every person, their role in the society development, the term «mechanism of public management in the sphere of telecommunication» is suggested. Furthermore, the listener reveals the composition and essence of the mentioned terms, presents her own classification of the mechanisms of public management in the sphere of telecommunications. Exposed legislative, institutional, regulatory legal, regulatory technical, motivational, supervisory mechanisms of public management n in the sphere of telecommunications, and the mechanisms of market and technical regulations. Also proved that the results of research can be used for developing recommendations for the improvement of public management in the sphere of telecommunications.
