Abstract: In this article we will consider the operation of the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) in the United Kingdom (UK). We will focus particular attention on the need for Ukraine to establish a similar single centralized information and communication portal for university access. This will help students avoid any damaging corruption and discrimination in the application and entrance system currently used to give access to the higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
