Abstract:
This article analyzes the priority directions of cooperation between Ukraine and Special Monitoring Mission OSCE to Ukraine (further – SMM OSCE) on issues regarding to security of Ukrainian-Russian state border. It is defined that Russian Federation continues to give vigorous support to the terroristic groupings – the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (“DPR”) and Luhansk People’s Republic (“LPR”), and to conduct actions directed at further escalation of situation in Ukraine. It is emphasized on necessity to advance the activity of Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine in sphere of security of Ukrainian-Russian state border, its verification of cease-fire regime within Donbas region, and international observers’ assistance and their contribution into the process of control renewal on Ukrainian-Russian state border by Ukrainian government within its whole length. There were defined the priority directions of cooperation between Ukraine and SMM OSCE to Ukraine in sphere of security of Ukrainian-Russian state border. They are: providing of political-diplomatic assistance to Ukraine’s intentions to secure its national sovereignty and territorial integrity under the conditions of military aggression; organization of efficient monitoring and control after the conditions of security on Ukrainian-Russian state border; commitment on issues regarding renewal of control under the common Ukrainian state border with Russia within its whole length; implementation of political dialogue between conflict sides on issues of state border security; verification of cease-fire regime and realization of other measures on issues of state border security.
