AStructural Model Suggestion About Relationship Between Total Tourism Affect Perceived By Local Residents And Tourism Support

Abstract: This study attempts to examine the structural effects of four tourism-impact factors on total impact and on local residents’support for tourism development. For this purpose, a model was developed and was tested with structural equation model. Test the model, 6 hypothesis constitude and a questionnary was conducted from 193 local residents in Bodrum. Structural equation model was applied using AMOS 4 and SPSS 13. After the test, suggested model accomodate intermediate and all hypothesis was accepted. As a result it was found that economic, social, cultural and environmental impacts effect tourism total impact different grade and total tourism impact influence tourism support.
