Abstract: An oft-neglected area of research is the degree of compliance associated with different parental styles, regardless of the health concerns of the parents. This study examined 204 respondents, 102 children, and 102 parents, examining food attitudes and preferences of parents, alongside their parental styles and degree of compliance displayed by children. It was found that authoritative parenting is the most significantly correlated one with child compliance to vegetarian food preferences and behaviors of parents.
