Abstract:
The paper analyses the level of modern improvement methods of business process application in Croatian companies that produce for the automotive industry and the influence of modern improvement method process on business success. The choice of companies operating for the automotive industry has been motivated by the fact that these methods were originally created in the industry, especially automotive industry. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine if and to what extent the companies that produce for automotive industry use the same or similar improvement methods and how they impact the business performance. Due to the influence that modern improvement methods of business process have on business success in industry all over the world, this paper wishes to research: which modern improvement methods of business processes are most developed i.e. which ones are mostly being used in companies that produce for automotive industry; what is their influence on business success in companies analyzed; is there and what is the intensity of relationship between modern improvement methods of business processes and business success; are companies that implement higher number of modern business improvement process methods more successful, and if so, on what basis (effectiveness/efficiency).
