Abstract: Entrepreneurial mindset can be described as the ability to spot entrepreneurial opportunities, tendency to act proactively and innovatively, and willingness to take risks. Entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting is one of the key drivers of any economy. The paper deals with the analysis of the entrepreneurial orientation of the members of Generations Z and Y who will soon make up most of the working and entrepreneurial active population. The paper presents the results of research on the determinants of entrepreneurial orientation on a sample of 216 Generation Y students and 322 Generation Z students. Initial assumptions of the research, which were made based on a previous review of recent literature, were that members of Generations Z and Y differ from each other according to the determinants of entrepreneurial orientation (innovation, proactivity and risk-taking), and that members of Generation Z are more proactive, innovative, and more prone to taking risks compared to members of Generation Y. Based on the results of the conducted research, a statistically significant difference in the dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation between members of different generations was confirmed, but in favour of members od Generation Y.
