Abstract: Innovations are the drivers of social and economic development. According to the conceptual settings of Swann’s model of the creative process, economically and socially effective innovation is process-structured. Depending on the phase of its implementation, different personality traits of the stakeholders are required. The goal of the research was to gain insight into the presence of the extroversion-introversion dimension of the HULT Prize competition participants, students’ competition focused on social entrepreneurship, and into their perception of certain determinants of Swann’s model. The research was conducted in 2023 by surveying 291 HULT Prize participants from 12 countries. The respondents were grouped according to the rank of innovation of their countries. The results did not reveal statistically significant differences in the views of respondents on the determinants of Swann’s model, and introverted personality dimensions prevailed. The interviews with the HULT Prize stakeholders provided a deeper insight into the quantitative research results.
