Abstract:
This study explores practical approaches for museums to fulfill their educational functions in promoting China's outstanding traditional culture, aiming to enhance their role in cultural preservation and development. Through literature review of domestic and international research, case studies of exemplary museums were analyzed, and field surveys were conducted to assess current educational practices. The findings indicate that museums have achieved notable progress in disseminating traditional culture through exhibition curation, educational programs, and guided tours, yet challenges persist including suboptimal implementation outcomes and methodological improvements needed. Key constraints include insufficient resource integration, inadequate technological adoption, and the need for talent development. To address these issues, the study proposes innovative exhibition formats, specialized educational curricula, and enhanced professional training as actionable strategies, offering valuable references for museums' educational initiatives in cultural heritage promotion.
