Abstract: The use of information generated by building systems is changing the way workplaces are designed and operated. Drivers such as staff mobility, preference and wellbeing are leading to an unprecedented level of integration between building systems, their occupants and building managers. To achieve the benefits of integration while mitigating business risk, real estate managers need to consider the three pillars of information security: confidentiality, integrity and availability.
