Corporate Real Estate Journal, 2018, vol. 7, issue 4, 298-303
Abstract:
Lufthansa New Workspace (NWS) is a concept that changes the working culture as well as the working environment in the Lufthansa Group. The project was developed in-house and began in 2013 with a test run in the Lufthansa Aviation Center (LAC) in Frankfurt (German headquarters). Following its success, the whole LAC was rolled out to 2,500 people by the end of 2016, and subsequently three more Lufthansa subsidiaries have adopted the new concept. Long term, the New Workspace will be the preferred workplace concept within the Lufthansa Group worldwide. This is a case study from the human resources (HR) viewpoint.
