How to develop personalised self-care protocols for use during a crisis

Abstract: Self-care is a tool that helps employees function effectively during normal work conditions and — especially — during crisis situations and business interruptions. This paper will further define self-care, its relevance to business continuity and emergency management, and the benefits of including it as a part of formal training and pre- or post-intervention strategies. Finally, it provides best practice guidance on how to implement self-care protocols, including examples of current practice.
