Pandemic flu planning in the US financial services sector

Abstract: This paper examines the state of pandemic planning in the USA, with special focus on the financial services sector. It first discusses planning approaches taken by a single company. It goes on to discuss planning at a regional level, with a focus on integrated public-private sector planning. Finally, it examines planning by the US financial services sector, exemplified in the interim pandemic report of the Blue Ribbon Commission on Mega-Catastrophes.
