The summer 2007 floods: One year on and the lessons learned

Abstract: The article focuses on the devastating floods of 2007, which impacted particularly badly on the Yorkshire and Humber region. Within the article is information about the scale of the disaster and the lessons learned both in the immediate response phase as well as the ongoing recovery process.
