Abstract: This paper provides an insight that opens up systemic flaws with regulatory bodies and a considerable blind spot in professional indemnity insurance. This is an eye-opening analysis of an industry that is closely tied to building surveyors, structural engineers, valuers, architects and — by extension — lawyers.
