Abstract: Sports broadcasting is often focused on the moment, on quick turnaround and on live events. As the number and type of distribution channels continue to expand, and audience viewing habits change, sports production has needed to change as well. When faced with upgrading to high definition (HD) and adding two 24/7 sports channels, Werne took the time to re-examine its workflow and tackle these new challenges with an eye on efficiency and future-proofing.
