Abstract:
Enterprise technology solutions have transformed not only digital asset management but business in general. At the same time, however, these serious, heavyweight deployments require significant preparation. Although challenging, such necessary deployments offer a source of great learning and insight that is all too often overlooked in the heat of a project. By understanding these lessons and crystallising them into principles, it is possible to amplify the benefits of enterprise technology without adding more enterprise projects. For businesses that are prepared to create a cohesive mindset of change, microprojects, smart adaptations, leveraging data and creating transparency can create a positive feedback loop of continuous improvement. This article demonstrates that even with a small team, learning the hard way can deliver long-term benefits.
