Abstract:
The book “Economic Development and Policies: Realities and Prospects. Challenges and Risks in the Conditions of Overlapping Crises” is a collection of articles with results of recent research on economic development in crisis presented at the National scientific conference with International Participation 2022 “Economic Development and Policies: Realities and Prospects. Challenges and Risks in the Conditions of Overlapping Crises”, organised by the Economic Research Institute at BAS. The scientific articles are arranged in six thematic areas: endogenous and exogenous restraints of growth and adaptability of economic policy during crises; the new realities and uncertainty in the economy; global uncertainty and EU integration; labour market, demographic development, inequalities and poverty – adaptability of policies in crisis conditions; sectoral and regional economic policy, changes in competitiveness and sustainable development; the companies in crisis conditions.
