Pawnshops - Economic Sketches

Abstract:
The role of pawnshops in the public economic life is revealed. Its economic nature, practical orientation and financial profitability have been analysed. Two basic trends in the development of the pawnbrokerage have been studied - impact and dependence caused by the general economic development. The dependence between the living standard and the pawn structure is revealed.
