Abstract:
Entrepreneurship is very important for countries which try to reach macroeconomic targets such as economic growth and development. Entrepreneurship intentions increase employment opportunities and number of enterprises and contribute to macroeconomic variables. Therefore, policy makers interest in increasing entrepreneurship intentions of young people. Education is one of the most important factors which help increasing entrepreneurship intentions of young people. The aim of this study is to measure entrepreneurship intentions of young people in Kastamonu, Tosya and Sakarya. By this way it will be possible to define effective policies to improve entrepreneurship intentions. To this aim we conducted a questionnaire on Kastamonu, Sakarya and Tosya. As a result of this study we found that entrepreneurship intentions of young people in Tosya are greater than the entrepreneurship intentions of young people in Sakarya and Kastamonu city.
