Building-Inspection Activities in the Public Sector and Problems Encountered

Abstract: Public building supervision is based on the control of the construction of public buildings such as reconstruction or maintenance. These activities are carried out by technical personnel working within the public body. Various problems are encountered at this stage. In order to mitigate these problems, the aim of the study was to evaluate the personnel of Karabük Special Provincial Administration, which is engaged in Building Inspection activities in the public sector, and to produce solutions to shed light on the general public. Semi-structured interview technique was used in the study. Twelve questions in five groups were asked to the interviewers and their answers were received. The answers received were interpreted and transferred under the problem and possible solution suggestions. The opinions of the technical staff of the Karabük Special Provincial Administration; At the same time, it is predicted that it can provide solutions to the problems of technical personnel in all state institutions.
