Abstract:
Preparing for an exam is a difficult task even in small groups, however, with an additional 15 students it becomes a rather difficult task. There are 90 minutes available twice a week which, if used effectively, is enough time for preparation. in my presentation i will demonstrate a method that I have specifically developed so that I can ensure the possibility of both oral practice and feedback for as many students as possible so that I can determine the best course of progress for each student. The location of the development was the Faculty of Commerce and Catering where I taught tourism and catering terminology for groups consisting of 15-18 persons who could pick up the English terminology course for the last time. The course material consisted of the Guide 2015 exam preparation pack compiled by our faculty. The method is akin to that of a rotating stage where the viewer (teacher) moves from location to location. The goal was that I could interact with students in smaller groups and that we could practice each section of the English language examination: monologue, situational activities, English terminology translation and listening.
