Abstract:
In the dedicated literature about entrepreneurial activity and innovation SMEs play an important role, being responsible for the creation of an important number of new products, new processes or methods. We tried to establish the role of the state through shoving the evolution of the share of SMEs in publicly funded R&D executed by the business sector for the period 1998-2006.
