Abstract: Hostile environment require special answer from the policy makers and the firm’s managerial team. The drop in demand and for Romanian economy the increase of the financing cost put the firms and the state budget management in a high stress. From the firm’s side the increase of the cost of leveraged capital generated a supplementary pressure and a weak response.
